I’m planning to do a Diploma of Tourism Management and am interested to hear unusual positions or jobs to gain experience. I know of the common jobs like ticket sales, travel agents, tour guides. Anything you’ve experienced when travelling or touristing that would be an amazing job?

working at a resort. Working as a cruise director. Working for a magazine related to travel. But I think you could get the most out of an upper level position at a resort or for a cruise line.

Hollerado grew up on the same street in a small town in Ontario. There is one bar in the town and on Friday nights the jukebox plays Roy Orbison, and John Prine. I want a job where I can travel around the world and be there for weeks. What jobs are there where you get paid to go some where and you get to travel at the same time? Beside a travel agent and a flight attendent.
